Food Works is located in the North Shore area in part of an old, renovated multistory knitting mill—which, in itself, has multiple historical stories to tell. Sharing this large building with Knitting Mill Antiques, Food Works opened in 2006 to bring “progressive Southern” cuisine to the North Shore area. I’d heard good things about their weekend brunch, so I roamed on over to check it out.
